Malaysian Malay vs Singaporean Malay

Reading these previous article from Othman, makes me reflect for awhile, do we really know what is happening in Singapore or we just assume?

He claim that Singaporean Malay have better community support to bring up themselves, to bring up their status level and work hard for it. How about Malaysian Malay? Did they brought up in support gov org. and community? Why is the level of hard work differ from them in Singapore? What is the level to bring up oneself? Definitely is society  and gov. The school and also community colleges and so forth.

I could say, Singaporean Malay in a way is fortunate as the country is developed much earlier, although there maybe be hiccups but most of them get the best of everything as its a small country rather than Malaysia which is far bigger than theirs.

Some rural area still underdeveloped and still lack of community sense to bring up children's to get better educations. That is why some Malay still cant speak proper English.

To add further, some Malay without the connections will stay as poor and average only those with higher education or have connection in family background will inherit better success than the rest.

"The irony is that many ordinary Malaysian Malays who have no connections, or fail to share their potential success with the 'right' people, will never have it easy to succeed. Perhaps, favouritism, cronyism and bribery are problems Dr Mahathir may want to address in his country."

I felt this statement could be addressed to many people in regards of their races as well. Reason is I felt same goes to me. I have no big connections, my family were atom family and he has a point. Without nothing from connections it hard also to be somewhere, unless you work hard and built your own empire yourself in educations.
